“Iron Girls 2” Returns: Uee, Geum Sae-rok, Park Joo-hyun, and Seol In-ah to Take On Boxing Challenge

After inspiring audiences with their strength and grit in its debut season, tvN’s Iron Girls is returning for Season 2 this time featuring a new lineup of actresses taking on a challenging boxing journey.
The first season of Iron Girls, airing from September 7 to November 16 last year, followed female celebrities as they trained for and competed in the Tongyeong World Triathlon Cup under the leadership of Kim Dong-hyun.

The show captivated viewers with its message of resilience and teamwork, praised for its authenticity and emotional storytelling. It gained popularity as a “wellness variety show,” resonating deeply with audiences, particularly through Jin Seo-yeon and Uee’s personal growth and overcoming of trauma. The season even earned a nomination for Best Variety Program at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards. Fans, moved by the cast’s journey, were eager for a second season, which is now confirmed.
Season 2 introduces a fresh team:
- Uee, who returns after overcoming a cycling phobia in Season 1, will now take on the gloves in her boxing debut.
- Geum Sae-rok, a workout enthusiast who never misses a training session, joins the cast with enthusiasm, saying she always hoped to be part of Iron Girls.
- Park Joo-hyun, last season’s underdog turned fan favorite, comes back with her signature “never give up” mentality.
- Seol In-ah, admired for her quick adaptability and sports prowess, is ready to shine in a new arena.
Leading the team once again is Kim Dong-hyun, serving as coach and mentor, offering both physical training and moral support.

Airing on July 13, Iron Girls 2 promises more emotional moments, inspiring challenges, and a celebration of physical and mental strength as these women fight their way through a demanding new sport.
