Byeon Woo-seok is set to hold the Seoul leg of his first Asia fan meeting tour “SUMMER LETTER” on July 6th and 7th at Jangchung Arena in Seoul. The ticket reservations for this event opened through Interpark Ticket at 8 PM on May 27th.
As expected, the ticket reservation process turned into a fierce competition. Over 700,000 users logged in simultaneously as soon as the reservations opened. Social media was flooded with fans posting screenshots of their waiting numbers, showcasing the difficulty of securing a ticket.
Jangchung Arena has a seating capacity of around 4,500, but it can accommodate up to 5,500 people. Therefore, this two-day fan meeting can host about 10,000 fans. With 700,000 people attempting to secure tickets, obtaining a ticket to Byeon Woo-seok’s fan meeting was as challenging as catching a star in the sky.
Byeon Woo-seok will also be holding his fan meeting tour in various regions across Asia, including Taiwan, Thailand and Hong Kong. The ticket reservations for his Taiwan fan meeting were also swiftly sold out.
Byeon Woo-seok is currently enjoying the peak of his popularity following his role as Ryu Seon-jae, the male lead in tvN’s drama “Lovely Runner“. The drama, which has significantly boosted his fame, will conclude its broadcast on May 28th.
