
Former One Direction member Liam Payne died after falling from the balcony of the CasaSur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Thursday, October 16th. This information was confirmed by the Argentine Federal Police to the media. Argentine news channel TN was the first to report the news.
Photos of the hotel room where Liam Payne was staying before his death have led many to speculate that the singer had been going through a difficult time. According to the media, Liam spent the final moments of his life in a state of great turmoil.


More concerning details were found on the room’s desk, including a box of Dove soap, matches, candle remnants, tin foil, and a powdery substance believed to be cocaine. A lighter and a burnt soda can lid were also found in the rubble, painting a picture of despair and chaos.

Earlier, police received a 911 call reporting “an aggressive man who may be under the influence of drugs and alcohol”. The hotel also reported that before his death, Liam had exhibited unusual behavior in the hotel lobby, smashing his laptop and being carried back to his room by staff.
At the scene, police and SAME paramedics (Buenos Aires’ public emergency medical service system) confirmed that Liam Layne had died after falling from the third floor of the hotel. According to the determination, Liam Payne died around 5:11 PM local time. Crescenti, head of SAME, said Liam Payne’s injuries were so severe that “there was no chance of saving him”.
