Is the Cast of ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ Changing Completely? “Another Key Member Leaves Following Na In-woo”

On June 13th, Sports Chosun exclusively reported that actor Yeon Jung-hoon will be leaving KBS 2TV’s variety program “2 Days & 1 Night Season 4″.
Having joined as a new member in December 2019, Yeon Jung-hoon will be parting ways with the program after about four years of beautiful companionship.
This news comes less than a week after Na In-woo‘s departure was announced, leading to disappointment among loyal viewers with the consecutive departures of key members.

It is known that Yeon Jung-hoon decided to leave after thorough discussions with the production team, choosing to focus on his main career and continue his journey as an actor.
Given the significant time they spent together, they opted for a beautiful farewell, supporting each other’s future endeavors.
According to the media, the production team genuinely supported Yeon Jung-hoon’s decision and wholeheartedly encouraged his new endeavors.
Yeon Jung-hoon led the team as the “big brother” of Season 4, demonstrating excellent chemistry with the younger members.
It is expected that he will display strong brotherhood during his final recording.

The production team is reportedly putting great effort into Yeon Jung-hoon’s final recording. However, specific broadcast date and details about his successor have not yet been decided.
It appears that “2 Days & 1 Night” is attempting significant changes. Besides Na In-woo and Yeon Jung-hoon, PD Lee Jung-kyu, who had been leading the program, also stepped down after about two years and two months.
PD Joo Jong-hyun, who has been co-directing, will take the lead. This has led to some speculation about the emergence of a new season.
Meanwhile, the fixed cast of “2 Days & 1 Night Season 4” includes singer Kim Jong-min, comedian Moon Se-yoon, rapper DinDin, actors Yeon Jung-hoon, Na In-woo and Yoo Seon-ho.
