ITZY just dropped some sneak peek photos for their upcoming album, Born To Be
On December 10th, ITZY released concept teaser images for their new album Born To Be. This time, the JYP’s 4th-gen girl group is making a comeback with just four members, as Lia had to go on a hiatus due to health reasons. Despite once being the leading girl group of their generation, ITZY has seen a bit of a cool-down since late 2021, and their recent music hasn’t quite caught fire like their debut era.
The four members rocking the rebellious warrior vibes in the teasers, wearing bold outfits that look similar to BLACKPINK during “Pink Venom”. Honestly, if you put them side by side, ITZY’s outfits could pass as straight out of BLACKPINK’s wardrobe.

ITZY’s comeback with just four members, and no Lia, the main vocalist, is making netizens a bit concerned about the group’s vocal performance. In bigger groups, shuffling roles works, but with just five members and Lia being responsible for the high notes, her absence can be a pretty big hurdle for ITZY.
