On July 1, a representative from the production confirmed, “Yuna will appear in ‘Miss Undercover Boss (tentative title)’ as Hong Jang-mi, the younger sister of lead character Hong Geum-bo, portrayed by Park Shin-hye.”
Set in the chaotic era of the late 1990s, Miss Undercover Boss is a retro office comedy that follows Hong Geum-bo, a 30-something elite financial regulator at the Financial Supervisory Service. In order to uncover suspicious financial activity at a securities firm, she goes undercover as a 20-year-old high school graduate entry-level employee. The drama promises a comedic take on workplace antics and hidden identities.

The cast boasts a star-studded lineup including Park Shin-hye, Go Kyung-pyo, Ha Yoon-kyung, and Jo Han-gyeol, with filming currently underway.

This project marks Yuna’s first acting role, sparking anticipation over whether she’ll join the ranks of successful “acting idols.” Known for her charisma on stage, fans are eager to see how she translates that presence to the small screen.

Meanwhile, ITZY recently released their mini-album Girls Will Be Girls on June 9, actively promoting the title track of the same name. With this acting debut, Yuna is poised to expand her already impressive career.
