The cast of Netflix’s When Life Gives You Tangerines made a surprise reunion at the VIP premiere of “Yadang: The Snitch,” generating buzz online.

On the evening of April 15, the premiere for director Hwang Byung-guk’s new film “Yadang: The Snitch” was held at Megabox COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul.

One fan caught IU quietly entering the venue wearing a mask, sharing photos online with the caption, “Geum-myeong from ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’ is here!” IU had played Park Hae-joon’s daughter, Geum-myeong, in the Netflix series.

Earlier that morning, Park Hae-joon hinted at the potential reunion during an interview with Xports News, saying, “You’ll have to see tonight to find out if the Bokssak cast is coming. Everyone’s busy, so it depends on the situation. But if they do come, I’d be really happy to see them again.”
