Recently, IU’s channel posted a short video titled “IU’s Unseen Battle with Injury.”

After successfully completing her concert, IU shared, “Honestly, my leg really hurt today. It’s hard to see, but this is the first time I’ve had to use this kind of sports taping.” She then showed her taped foot.

IU explained, “The wheel of my suitcase came off, and I tripped, causing it to fall on my foot. At that moment, I severed the circuit going to my brain, keeping what was happening to my foot separate from my brain. Performing was emotional. Even though I blocked the circuit, I still ended up in tears.”

Meanwhile, starting last March at KSPO Dome in Seoul’s Songpa District, IU embarked on her five-month world tour “2024 IU HEREH WORLD TOUR: THE WINNING,” performing in 18 cities including Singapore, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, London, Berlin, Atlanta, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles. On September 22, she held an encore concert for this tour at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in Seoul.
