On March 14, IU published several photos on her personal Instagram account along with the caption, “Behind the scenes. Act 1, Part 2″. The photos in question show the wedding photoshoot scene of IU and Park Bo-gum, who recently starred together in the Netflix K-drama “When Life Gives You Tangerines”.
In these photos, IU and Park Bo-gum, who appeared wearing a pure white wedding dress and a neat tuxedo respectively, linked arms and smiled. The two also showed off their sweet atmosphere by affectionately taking mirror shots and holding hands to make memories, making fans excited. Their chemistry is so explosive that you’d believe they were a real couple, captures everyone’s attention.

Meanwhile, previously on March 11, IU appeared as a guest on the YouTube entertainment show “Salon Drip 2,” hosted by comedian Jang Do-yeon. During the show, she shared updates on her life and discussed her upcoming Netflix series, “When Life Gives You Tangerines.”
As “Salon Drip 2” reached its 81st episode, IU expressed her enthusiasm for the show, saying, “This was the program I wanted to be on the most.” She also mentioned having watched Park Bo-gum’s episode, adding, “I really enjoyed the episode featuring Bo-gum,” showing her admiration for her co-star.

Talking about her role as Ae-soon in “When Life Gives You Tangerines,” IU described her character as “someone with a tender heart but a sassy and outspoken personality.” She continued, “If Ae-soon existed in real life, I think we would be very close friends. She can’t stand injustice and is very straightforward. I admire people who are good at their work because you can’t do a good job without considering others.”

She then turned her praise toward Park Bo-gum, who plays Gwan-sik in the drama, emphasizing his remarkable qualities, “Park Bo-gum is the perfect combination of kindness and competence.” She added with confidence, “If someone has worked with Park Bo-gum and doesn’t like him, then that person is the problem.” Jang Do-yeon, clearly agreeing, wondered aloud, “How can someone have no flaws?”
IU went on to highlight Bo-gum’s incredible work ethic and endurance, saying, “First of all, Park Bo-gum has incredible stamina. At the core of all his kindness is his physical endurance. No matter how exhausting things get, I actually found myself yelling at him, ‘Aren’t you tired?!’ But he just responded, ‘Ji-eun ah, I’m fine. Thank you for worrying about me,’ which left me in shock.”

She also shared a behind-the-scenes story from filming, recalling a particularly challenging scene, “There was a particularly difficult scene that required many takes. Naturally, we were both completely drained. Since it was a full shot, only Bo-gum and I were in the frame, and we both had microphones to capture our voices.”
She continued, “At that moment, I was so exhausted that I couldn’t even speak, but then I heard him whisper, ‘Director, I could have done better. I’m sorry I couldn’t give more.’ Seeing that, I got mad at myself, thinking, ‘Why am I not like him?’”
Jang Do-yeon, amused by the anecdote, jokingly suggested, “Maybe he was thinking, ‘Ji-eun ah, you’ll talk about this on a show, right?’” IU laughed in response and clarified, “If it were anyone else, I might have taken it as a joke, but not Bo-gum. He even cried when he was on this show, didn’t he?”
IU’s heartfelt admiration for Park Bo-gum has once again highlighted his reputation as one of the most beloved and respected actors in the industry.
