On the latest episode of a YouTube variety show, IVE members Ahn Yujin and Rei appeared as guests, chatting candidly with host Lee Soo-geun.
During the episode, Lee Soo-geun asked Yujin, “Can you handle all the popularity these days? Don’t you want to walk around places like Myeongdong sometimes?” , to which Yujin replied, “I do go out. If I just cover up a bit, honestly, I don’t get recognized that much.”
She added, “Because I’m quite tall, I do stand out, but winter is perfect. If I wear a long padded coat, it’s fine”, while Rei chimed in, “People recognize me by my voice.”
Lee Soo-geun then asked which celebrity do the two’s parents like, to which Rei answered, “When I told my mom I was going to meet you, she was so excited.” Meanwhile, Yujin mentioned, “My parents also like people who look trustworthy. I’ve been told I have the ‘in-law pass’ face,” to which Lee laughed and said, “Who wouldn’t want Yujin as a daughter-in-law?”
The conversation then shifted to what gifts they had given their parents with their earnings. In particular, when Lee Soo-geun asked, “Have you bought anything for your parents? Like a car, maybe?” Yujin nodded and revealed, “I actually bought them a car”, while Rei added, “I sent my parents on a trip.”
Lee also asked if they had ever been able to go on vacation together as a family, given their busy schedules. Yujin smiled and replied, “We went to Hawaii. Our family and Rei’s family went together—it was a two-family trip.”
