First deciding to get plastic surgery at 15, she began saving money by working moving and security jobs from age 16. Airi’s total spending on plastic surgeries amounts to 24 million yen (approximately $160,000 USD).

Starting with eye surgery at 19, Airi later had hyaluronic acid injections in her forehead, nose, and chin, along with a nose bridge enhancement. She also underwent breast augmentation surgery costing 1.7 million yen (approximately $11,000 USD). Her most expensive procedure was jaw surgery, which cost 4.37 million yen (approximately $28,500 USD).

So what led Airi to make such a significant investment in plastic surgery? In a previous interview with a media outlet, she explained it was “due to constant criticism about her appearance from her mother and bullying from friends.”

Airi revealed, “While I was called cute when I was young, from middle school, I became so insecure about my appearance that I hated looking in mirrors,” and added, “I think I gained confidence after my first eye surgery in high school.”
