After approximately 10 days since the scandal of vaping backstage at the Jacquemus show in Italy, on the morning of July 17, the online community shared images of Jennie’s first public appearance in the U.S.
Accordingly, both BLACKPINK’s Jennie and Rosé unexpectedly reunited at the home of the sibling duo Simi & Haze in Los Angeles (U.S.). In the shared images, Jennie appears to be in a stable and more relaxed state of mind after facing criticism from netizens for vaping indoors and in front of staff.
Previously, Jennie received numerous mixed reactions for her vaping action. Some netizens even filed complaints with the Italian embassy. Shortly after, Jennie, through her management company, admitted to vaping and apologized to fans as well as the staff present:
