On March 13, the YouTube channel “Study King Genius Hong Jin-kyung (tentative title)” uploaded a video titled “Hong Jin-kyung Exclusively Unveils Jennie’s Office with a Garden for the First Time (Includes Call with Jennie’s Mom)” featuring BLACKPINK’s Jennie as a guest. In the video, Hong Jin-kyung visited OA Entertainment, Jennie’s newly established one-person agency, and engaged in a candid conversation with her.
Jennie enthusiastically greeted Hong Jin-kyung, saying, “You’re my first guest. This is the very first time.” The office immediately captured attention with its modern and luxurious design. Inside, there was a large sofa, a TV, and a bicycle that Jennie received as a gift from Coachella. The space also featured an array of Jennie’s career milestones, including her albums and trophies. Additionally, a spacious garden, accessible for employees to enjoy, stood out as a unique feature.

As they explored the office, Hong Jin-kyung complimented the furniture, saying, “This sofa looks great.” Jennie, beaming with pride, responded, “My mom picked it out,” highlighting her mother’s keen sense of style. The conversation naturally led to a phone call with Jennie’s mother, bringing even more warmth and humor to the exchange.
During the call, Hong Jin-kyung asked Jennie’s mother how she felt when her daughter was named a Chanel ambassador. She humorously replied, “I thought, ‘Ah, it’s over now,'” causing everyone to laugh. Hong Jin-kyung, quick-witted as always, playfully followed up, asking, “You mean it’s your daughter’s era now?”, a remark that further brightened the atmosphere.

Another interesting topic that arose was Jennie’s “taemong” (conception dream). Her mother revealed, “I dreamt of a giant tiger approaching me.” Hong Jin-kyung, clearly impressed, responded in amazement, “So that’s why Jennie became so successful!”
The conversation also delved into Jennie’s childhood, particularly her decision to study abroad in New Zealand at the age of nine. When asked about it, Jennie’s mother nonchalantly remarked, “She went to learn English, so what’s the problem?” She then admitted, “I was a bit sad, but Jennie endured it well without crying.”

However, when Hong Jin-kyung pointed out that Jennie recalled the situation differently, her mother wittily responded, “You can’t trust Jennie’s memory,” drawing laughter from everyone.
Meanwhile, Jennie officially released her first full-length solo album, Ruby, on the 7th and is currently engaged in active promotions.
