BLACKPINK’s Jennie Disses Haters in New Title, Directly Produces New Album

Recently, Jennie posted a teaser video for the title song “Like JENNIE” of her first solo full album “Ruby”, which will be released simultaneously worldwide on February 7th at 2 PM (Korean time), through her official SNS. The released video contains various appearances of Jennie in “Ruby” in Polaroid.

At the end of the video, a part of the title song ‘Like JENNIE’ was played, and Jennie appeared with a new styling different from what she had shown so far, drawing attention. In particular, the female idol gave off a hip aura with her intense gaze, and at the end of the video, Her powerful rap poured out to the sensual beat, instantly capturing attention.

It is known that Jennie’s first solo full-length album, “Ruby”, was produced by Jennie herself, and contains her own identity and infinite musical possibilities.

Additionally, back on February 27, Jennie dropped the Official Album Sampler video for her album, providing snippets of all the included tracks. Among those, the lyrics for title track “like JENNIE” drew massive attention as the female idol directly combatted haters.

Additionally, on Jan 25th, Jennie’s official YouTube channel uploaded a new visualizer video titled “JENNIE – ZEN”.

Jennie is set to release her first full-length solo album “Ruby” on March 7th. Without prior notice, she dropped “ZEN”, which, despite being a visualizer, highlights Jennie’s signature powerful mid-to-low-range rapping and captivating vocals.

Fans are raving about the mystical performance, Jennie’s versatile styling and the visually stunning effects showcased in the video. The surprise release is receiving an enthusiastic response, with the video surpassing 1.4 million views within just three hours of being posted.
