Jeon So-min Reveals Her 19-Year-Old Model Days: “Wanted to Be a Singer, But Tone-Deaf”
Actress Jeon So-min shared a candid look into her early career on the May 11 episode of TV Chosun’s “Huh Young Man’s Food Travel” (Ep. 295), during a food tour around Yongsan.
When asked about her debut, Jeon So-min revealed, “I debuted at 19 as a magazine model,” adding that she gradually built her way up in the industry and is now in her 22nd year of her career.
Heo Young-man followed up by asking if acting was always her goal. To that, she replied, “Actually, I originally wanted to become a singer.”
However, when asked why she didn’t pursue that path, she admitted with a laugh, “Because I can’t sing well. I’m tone-deaf.”
Despite this, Jeon So-min charmed everyone by singing a line from the song “Love Is Like a Glass” at Heo’s request, earning a round of applause for her honesty and cheerful spirit.
