This post marks Jessi’s first social media update since the fan assault neglect controversy, signaling her official return to activities and garnering significant attention.

Back in September last year, Jessi was accused of standing by while an underage fan was assaulted. The fan had reportedly approached Jessi for a photo but was then attacked by a man believed to be part of Jessi’s entourage.

CCTV footage later surfaced, showing Jessi momentarily attempting to stop the man before leaving the scene. This led to lawsuits filed against her by both the assaulted fan and netizens. During police questioning, Jessi claimed that she had met the perpetrators for the first time on the day of the incident.

The police ultimately ruled that there was insufficient evidence to charge Jessi with concealing criminals and fleeing, leading to a decision not to indict her. Meanwhile, rapper Koala, who threatened and assaulted the fan, was formally charged with assault.

In December last year, marking her 19th year since debuting, Jessi shared a message reflecting on her journey, “I believe life is a journey. We have all experienced this rollercoaster ride, and I am truly grateful for those who have stayed by my side.”
