Jo Se-ho Clears Up “Unfollowed” Rumor: “I Didn’t Unfollow Kim Soo-hyun, I Never Followed Him”

As of March 12, Jo Se-ho is no longer following Kim Soo-hyun on SNS. The two built a connection through MBC’s variety show “Good Day”. Notably, Jo Se-ho unfollowed only Kim Soo-hyun among the “88-line” (G-Dragon, Jung Hae-in, Lee Soo-hyuk, Im Si-wan, Hwang Kwang-hee), drawing attention.
Some speculate that Jo Se-ho might have cut ties with Kim Soo-hyun due to his recent controversy. However, others caution against jumping to conclusions, emphasizing the need for careful judgment.

According to Star News’ investigation, it has been confirmed that Jo Se-ho was never following Kim Soo-hyun on Instagram in the first place. “Unfollowing” refers to the act of severing a connection with an account that was previously followed, but if Jo Se-ho never followed Kim Soo-hyun’s account to begin with, the claim does not hold.
Assuming the nature of their relationship simply because they are not following each other on social media is an over-exaggeration. Jo Se-ho’s side is reportedly caught off guard by the unexpected controversy.

Previously, on March 10th, the YouTube channel “Garosero Research Institute” (known for its sensationalist reporting) posted a video titled “Kim Soo-hyun Led to Kim Sae-ron‘s Death (Dated for 6 Years Since She Was 16)”, citing claims from a woman who identified herself as Kim Sae-ron’s aunt.

The allegation that Kim Soo-hyun had been in a long-term relationship with Kim Sae-ron since her teenage years caused a major stir.
Kim Soo-hyun’s agency Gold Medalist swiftly denied the claims, stating, “The assertions made on the YouTube broadcast are completely false.” However, on the evening of March 11th, “Garosero Research Institute” escalated the controversy by revealing a selfie of the two kissing on the cheek.
Meanwhile, Kim Soo-hyun is currently filming the upcoming Disney+ original series “Knock-Off”.
