In a recent interview with SPOTV News on July 8, actress and singer Jo Yuri has opened up about her new role in “Squid Game” Season 3, the possibility of IZ*ONE reunion, and a surprising dream of her former groupmate Yena.

Particular, when asked about the possibility of a reunion for IZ*ONE, Jo Yuri said honestly, “There haven’t been any talks or plans yet. But if it ever happens, I would absolutely take part, no matter what.”
The idol-actress also added that while the IZ*ONE members talk often, their conversations are mostly casual and full of encouragement, stating, “The members and I talk a lot. We often leave messages like, ‘I watched ‘Squid Game’, you did great,’ or ‘I heard your song, it’s good.’ We have a group chat, but it usually only pings on birthdays. Private messages are more active.”

One of the most intriguing moments of the interview came when Jo Yuri revealed that Yena had a prophetic dream just before she was cast in “Squid Game 3”.
“Yena had the funniest reaction. She kept teasing me, asking, ‘When’s the baby coming?’ and ‘Which episode do you give birth in?’”, Jo Yuri laughed, referring to her character Jun-hee, who enters the brutal games while pregnant.
“Before I even knew I got the part, Yena had a dream where I was crying while pregnant. She looked it up and said it means good luck or success. Then she texted me, ‘You got the Squid Game role, didn’t you?’ It was wild because she even guessed the character correctly, though I hadn’t auditioned for this specific role”, she added.

In the end, to thank Yena, Jo Yuri said she took her out for grilled clams. “It’s not just because of the dream, but since she’s treated me so often, I finally returned the favor,” she also said, laughing.
