Jun Ji-hyun’s Hidden Talent Revealed “Why Her Husband Denied Divorce Rumors So Fast”
On May 22, a video titled “Lee Mi-sook’s Cooking Was Beau-ti-ful (feat. Jun Ji-hyun’s Recipe)” was uploaded to actress Lee Mi Sook‘s personal YouTube channel.
In the video, Lee Mi-sook was seen cooking with ingredients from her fridge. When complimented on her cooking skills, she proudly responded “I’ve lived as a woman for 60 years”, showcasing her confidence.
Of particular note was her use of salted kelp to season dishes. She revealed that the cooking tips were from none other than actress Jun Ji-hyun, saying, “There are a few recipes I learned from her.” She added, “Jun Ji-hyun brings fully prepared meals to the filming set and takes care of the staff with healthy food. She’s fast with her hands and truly smart.”
Jun Ji-hyun married Choi Joon-hyuk, CEO of Alpha Asset Management, in 2012. The couple has two sons.
In 2021, the YouTube channel “Garosero Research Institute” sparked rumors by claiming that “Jun Ji-hyun’s husband wants a divorce”, though these claims were unfounded. Jun Ji-hyun’s agency swiftly denied all allegations and declared legal action, stating, “We firmly assert that none of the content mentioned in that broadcast is true.”
Simultaneously, Jun Ji-hyun’s husband Choi Joon-hyuk humorously debunked the divorce rumors via his messenger profile picture. He reportedly parodied a scene from the popular manga “Slam Dunk”, captioning it with the line, “I want to be Jun Jun’s (Jun Ji-hyun’s) husband.”
Around the same time, Jun Ji-hyun’s mother-in-law, fashion designer Lee Jung-woo, indirectly expressed her frustration on social media, writing, “Today was so upsetting I almost lost control.”
