Jun Ji Hyun to Potentially Star with Ji Chang Wook in Fantasy Drama ‘Human X Gumiho’
Top Korean actress Jun Ji Hyun is set to make a major return to the small screen. According to an exclusive report by OSEN on March 28, Jun Ji Hyun has received an offer to star in the fantasy drama “Human X Gumiho” (working title) and is positively reviewing the script.
Joining her in discussions is Ji Chang Wook, who has also been offered a role in the series and is currently reviewing the project.
A New Fantasy World from a Rising Star Writer
Human X Gumiho is the newest work by writer Im Me Ah Ri, who previously assisted renowned screenwriter Kim Eun Sook, known for hit dramas like Goblin, Secret Garden and The Glory. Im Me Ah Ri gained recognition with her debut as the main writer of The Beauty Inside (2018) and later Doom at Your Service (2021).
The series will be a fantasy drama, produced by High Zium Studio, the production house behind Hellbound 2 and Doctor Slump. The show is currently in its early stages of development, with broadcast details yet to be finalized.
