On the afternoon of June 3, a live vote-count viewing event was held in front of the National Assembly in Yeouido, Seoul, where supporters of Democratic Party candidate Lee Jae-myung had gathered. Among the attendees was actress Jung Eun-hye, who recently tied the knot, drawing attention.
Taking the microphone, Jung Eun-hye introduced herself by saying, “Hello, I’m an artist and played the twin sister of actress Han Ji-min in ‘Our Blues’.”
Having recently returned from her honeymoon, Jung Eun-hye also stood out by holding up a caricature of Lee Jae-myung that she had drawn in 2019.
The actress and artist, who has Down syndrome, gained recognition in 2022 for her portrayal of Lee Young-hee, the sister of Han Ji-min’s character Young-ok, in “Our Blues”.
In May, Jung Eun-hye received warm congratulations after holding her wedding ceremony. Fellow cast members from “Our Blues”, including Han Ji-min, Kim Woo-bin and Lee Jung-eun, attended the ceremony and celebrated her special day.
Meanwhile, on the morning of June 4, Lee Jae-myung was elected as the 21st President of South Korea.
