Apink’s Jung Eun-ji Leaves IST Entertainment, Signs Exclusive Contract with BILLIONS

On May 2, BILLIONS stated, “We have signed an exclusive contract with Jeong Eun-ji. Having established herself as a ‘multi-talented entertainer’ in music, acting, variety shows, and more, we will provide full support so she can continue her wide-ranging activities.”

IST Entertainment also released an official statement the same afternoon, announcing, “We would like to inform you that the exclusive contract between IST Entertainment and artist Jeong Eun-ji has recently ended. After a deep discussion based on mutual trust, both parties have decided to support each other’s paths.”
IST expressed gratitude, saying, “Since debuting with A Pink in 2011, Jeong Eun-ji has spent the past 14 years with us, building her career not only as a group member but also as a solo artist and actress. Her sincere efforts and remarkable growth have been meaningful for us.”
They concluded, “We sincerely support Jeong Eun-ji’s new journey and wish her the best in her future endeavors. We also deeply thank the fans for their warm love and support for Jeong Eun-ji.”
Apink, who debuted in 2011 with a pure and innocent concept, became loved with many hit songs like NoNoNo, Mr. Chu, I’m So Sick, LUV, Dumhdurum, Remember, FIVE, Only One, and %%.

Jung Eun-ji, the main vocalist of the group, released her first solo mini-album Dream in 2016 and received a positive response with the title track Hopefully Sky. In 2022, she released the album Log, which included a remake of songs like Journey for Myself.
Jung Eun-ji made her successful acting debut with the drama Reply 1997, playing the role of Sung Si-won, for which she won the Best New Actress award at the 49th Baeksang Arts Awards. She has also appeared in a variety of dramas, including That Winter, the Wind Blows, Untouchable, Work Later, Drink Now, and Miss Night and Day. Currently, she is playing the role of Mira in 24-Hour Health Club.
