The duo, who co-founded Artist Company, visited a major tech conglomerate’s entertainment subsidiary to discuss potential collaborations, including film production.
Their appearance comes amid rising speculation about the loosening of China’s long-standing Hallyu ban, restrictions placed on Korean pop culture exports. Footage of Jung and Lee entering a building together has since gone viral on Chinese social media.
Adding to the intrigue, the two actors were also seen visiting a cigar bar with popular Chinese actress Zhou Dongyu, fueling discussion even before Korean media picked up the story.
This marks Jung Woo-sung’s first public appearance since November, when he shocked the public by acknowledging paternity of a child born to Moon Ga-bi, despite the two never being romantically linked prior.
