Recently, it was reported that model Moon Ga-bi, who is 16 years old younger than actor Jung Woo-sung, has given birth to the latter’s son. However, there has been no news about them dating nor plans for marriage.
According to an exclusive report by media outlet Ten Asia on November 24, the two recently met to discuss the child’s upbringing and potential marriage but were unable to reconcile their differing views.
Moon Ga-bi reportedly wanted to marry and provide a traditional family environment for their child, while Jung Woo-sung maintained a firm stance against marriage. This disagreement is said to have prompted Moon Ga-bi to reveal her son’s birth on social media.
The pair reportedly met privately a few times in the past but were not in a romantic relationship. The exact circumstances of their meeting remain unclear, though there are rumors suggesting that a famous actor introduced them, but these claims have since been confirmed to be false.
Jung Woo-sung’s side has since responded to the aforementioned “marriage conflict rumor”, stating, “Regarding whether there was any conflict between the two, it is the actor’s personal matter. There will be no further official statements regarding the two.”
Shortly after their initial meetings, Moon Ga-bi informed Jung Woo-sung of her pregnancy, leading to the birth of their child. While Jung Woo-sung acknowledged his role as the biological father through paternity testing and provided financial support for the child’s upbringing and birth-related expenses, he refused to marry Moon Ga-bi or take on the role of a traditional husband and father.
On the other hand, Moon Ga-bi revealed her secretive pregnancy and the birth of her child on November 22. While she did not mention the child’s father or address marriage directly, her announcement sparked widespread curiosity and fingers were pointed to Jung Woo-sung.
The actor has since confirmed that he’s the biological father of the child.
