Jung Woo-sung, who previously dated Lee Ji-ah, shocks the public 13 years later by revealing he has a son with Moon Ga-bi
He has acknowledged that he is the biological father of a son with model Moon Ga-bi, who is 16 years younger than him.
Jung Woo-sung and Lee Ji-ah met through SBS’s drama “Athena: Goddess of War” and developed a romantic relationship. Reports of their Paris date surfaced, and in March 2011, the two admitted they were dating. At the time, it was rare for top stars to openly acknowledge their relationships, leading to a wave of reactions describing their admission as groundbreaking. Jung Woo-sung explained, “It wasn’t about being attracted to her appearance. While working on the project, we connected through conversations, and even after it ended, I wanted to continue that connection, so we started dating.”
However, their romance was short-lived. Barely a month after confirming their relationship, it was revealed that Lee Ji-ah had secretly married singer Seo Taiji in the U.S. and was engaged in a lawsuit over alimony. In the end, Jung Woo-sung and Lee Ji-ah broke up just two months after going public.
Fast forward 13 years. While Jung Woo-sung has faced various dating rumors over the years, he consistently denied them. Suddenly, rather than news of marriage or dating, it was revealed that he had become a father. Reports emerged that Jung Woo-sung and Moon Ga-bi, who met at a gathering in 2022, grew close, and Moon Ga-bi became pregnant with his child in June of last year, giving birth in March of this year.
Regarding this, Jung Woo-sung’s agency Artist Company stated, “The child Moon Ga-bi revealed through SNS is indeed Jung Woo-sung’s biological child. Discussions are ongoing to determine the best approach to raising the child, and Jung Woo-sung will fulfill his responsibilities as a father to the fullest.” However, the agency remained silent regarding the timeline of the child’s birth, the nature of Jung Woo-sung and Moon Ga-bi’s relationship, and any plans for marriage.
