Jungkook’s Korean Fan Club Launches Grand Support Projects for Military Discharge & 12th Debut Anniversary

As BTS’s Jungkook nears his military discharge, fans in Korea are making sure his return is as unforgettable as his journey. The singer’s official Korean fan club, “Jungkook Supporters,” has launched a series of heartfelt support projects in celebration of both his upcoming discharge and the 12th anniversary of his debut with BTS.

From April 1 to June 30, the streets of Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do, where Jungkook is currently stationed, will be graced with full-wrap taxi advertisements. These taxis proudly display images of Jungkook alongside the message: “Jungkook’s Golden Return – The Time to Soar Again,” a tribute to the idol’s enduring presence and symbolic fresh start.
The domestic fan club Jungkook Supporters also announced their second major event via social media platform X (formerly Twitter), revealing a large-scale banner campaign featuring 150 streetlight ads throughout Yeoncheon and Jeongok in Gyeonggi Province—where Jungkook is currently serving.
These streetlight banners will be on display from June 5 to 11, and each one features a striking photo of Jungkook alongside the similar message, reflecting fans’ deep affection and anticipation.
This initiative is just one of seven support projects curated by “Jungkook Supporters” to mark this important milestone.
A Tradition of Thoughtful Tributes

Last year, the same fan club went all out for the first anniversary of Jungkook’s solo album “Golden.” They decorated Jeonpo Market and surrounding cafés with banners bearing touching messages like:
- “We Will Always Be Standing Next to Jungkook”
- “We’ll Follow Jungkook’s Compass Too”
- “Thank You, Jungkook, for the Golden Moments You’ve Given Us”
The group also operated a “Jungkook Bus” across Yeoncheon and Seoul, and hosted a café event that gave out free coffee to soldiers in uniform, along with discounted drinks and photo cards for fans and general visitors, all gestures of deep appreciation.
Jungkook: An Idol Who Gives Back
Fans’ unwavering support is mirrored by Jungkook’s own generosity. On March 28, he donated 1 billion KRW (approx. 682,000 USD) to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association, aiding wildfire victims in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam, and supporting firefighters through awareness and improved conditions.

This comes after his 1 billion KRW donation to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital in 2023, reinforcing his identity as an artist who spreads positive influence through both music and action.
With Jungkook’s military discharge expected this June, fans are already paving a golden path for his return. Whether it’s riding a Jungkook-themed taxi, attending café events, or simply supporting from afar, ARMY is once again showing the world how deep and enduring their love truly is.
One thing is certain, Jungkook’s comeback will be just as golden as the legacy he continues to build.
