BTS member Jungkook has reassured fans with a warm and playful update, just 27 days before his military discharge. His message, shared via Weverse on May 15, quickly set social media ablaze with anticipation for his return.

“What are you doing?” Jungkook began casually, following up with “Are you doing well? Hehe. I’ll be out soon. Heading to work out now—today is shoulder day.”
He didn’t stop there, taking a moment to praise fellow members Jin and J-Hope, both of whom have completed their service, “Hobi-hyung and Jin-hyung are working hard, so please give them lots of love, ARMY hehe.” He ended with a caring reminder: “Take good care of your health too! We’ll see each other soon.”
Jungkook enlisted in December 2023 as an active-duty soldier and is expected to be discharged this June, alongside RM, Jimin, and V. His brief but heartfelt message marks the first public check-in in a while and serves as a reassuring signal that the long-awaited full BTS reunion is drawing near.
The youngest BTS member has remained a constant presence in fans’ hearts, not just through past performances but also for his generous spirit. In March, he made headlines for donating ₩1 billion KRW (approx. $716,000 USD) to help wildfire victims in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam—the largest personal donation ever made to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association by a celebrity.

As the countdown begins, ARMY worldwide is preparing to welcome Jungkook back, with the buzz around BTS’s eventual full-group activities intensifying. For fans, his simple words—“I’ll be out soon”—carry the weight of nearly two years of waiting, and the promise of a new chapter in BTS’s history.
