THE BOYZ’s Juyeon Apologizes for Dating Rumors with Shin Si-ah: “I Won’t Repeat the Same Mistake”
On June 12, Juyeon wrote a message to fans through the communication app Fromm, saying, “Dear THE B (fandom name), first of all, I’m sorry for making you wait so long.”
He continued, “I should have come to you sooner, even if just a little. But I spent too much time thinking about how I could make you worry less or feel less upset, and that ended up taking longer. I now think that time may have made things harder for you, and I’m really sorry for that.”
“Through this incident, I feel like I made THE B upset, and I’m truly sorry,” he added. “Even though there are a lot of things that aren’t true, I deeply understand that the fact this situation even occurred is ultimately my responsibility. I promise I won’t repeat the same mistake again.”
Juyeon went on to say, “I think I became too accustomed to THE B’s love and support, and I momentarily forgot how much trust and expectation I’ve been receiving. From now on, I will not take your hearts for granted. I’ll treasure them more and act accordingly.”
He emphasized, “Everything I’ve said to THE B and everything I’ve shown you—all of that was genuine. But with this incident, I worry that you might think even those feelings weren’t real. I’m sorry if it made you feel that way. I’ll work harder from now on so I can live up to your love and trust and not be ashamed of it.”
THE BOYZ’s Juyeon and rising actress Shin Si-ah are currently at the center of dating speculation following alleged social media clues and shared activities. On June 10, Juyeon’s agency, One Hundred, addressed the rumors, firmly denying any romantic relationship between the two stars.
After checking with the individual, it is not true, One Hundred told Star News, responding to growing curiosity about the idol’s relationship status. Shin Si-ah’s agency, Management Soop, also denied the rumors.
Adding to the intrigue, Juyeon and Shin Si-ah previously starred together in the short film Young Young, which was showcased at the 26th Jeonju International Film Festival. Their on-screen chemistry and real-life friendship have been subjects of interest since the film’s release.
Juyeon debuted with THE BOYZ under Cre.ker Entertainment (now One Hundred) in 2017.
