K.Will, “I Didn’t Expect Seo In-guk and Ahn Jae-hyun’s Gay MV to Become Viral”
On the June 25 broadcast of SBS PowerFM’s ‘Cultwo Show,’ where Muzy was the special DJ, singer K.Will appeared as a guest.
Here, K.Will talked about the music video for his new song, which gained attention with appearances by Seo In-guk and Ahn Jae-hyun. He said, “Previously, the two of them appeared in the music video for ‘Please Don’t…’ which became a big hit. Coincidentally, Ahn Jae-hyun contacted me and suggested appearing on Seo In-guk’s YouTube together.”
He continued, “There aren’t many minor-key emotional songs, but ‘Please Don’t…’ is a representative one. I thought it might be interesting to link a new minor-key song to the music video. Jae-hyun liked the idea, so we decided to persuade In-guk. Eventually, we convinced Seo In-guk, and that’s how it happened.”
When asked if he expected such a hot response, K.Will said, “I thought it would be fun, but I didn’t expect it to become such a big topic. It’s surprising how much international attention it has garnered.”
He added with a laugh, “People are letting their imaginations run wild, and it’s become an uncontrollable situation, so we’re just letting it be.”
On the other hand, K.Will’s “Please Don’t..” MV was viral even after years of release due to its unexpected gay plot twist between Seo In-guk and Ahn Jae-hyun, and the new MV of K.Will expanded on the two’s relationship, drawing attention.
