Shocking Serial Rapist Case

Lee’s crimes began in 1999 in Daejeon, and over eight years, he preyed on women ranging from teenagers to those in their 40s. Over eight years, Lee targeted 184 women, impersonating gas inspectors and striking in areas from Daejeon to across the nation.

Lee’s brutality included raping multiple women at once and forcing victims to call friends, only to assault them too. Despite evading police with no fingerprints and misleading descriptions, he was eventually caught after tollgate CCTV footage exposed a suspicious speeding vehicle.

Shockingly, Lee appeared to live a normal life as a father and amateur soccer player. Experts described him as “addicted to crime,” finding twisted pleasure in controlling victims. Only 77 of the 127 documented cases had DNA evidence, and Lee denied many charges.

Celebrities’ Reactions to the Case

Kang Daniel reacted with raw emotion: “I feel like throwing up. This isn’t a human being.” His visible distress echoed the sentiments of the viewers and fellow cast members, who were equally horrified by the scale and brutality of the crimes.

Narsha

Narsha added empathetically, “If it had happened to me, I don’t think I could have done anything,” while Jung Dong-hwan condemned the attacker, declaring, “We absolutely have to catch this madman.”
