Kang Ha-neul Doesn’t Date Celebrities? Recalls Love Confession Done via a Note

Recently, a new video was published on the YouTube channel “Life84”. Here, actors Kang Ha-neul and Park Hae-joon appeared to promote their film “Yadang: The Snitch” (also known as “Opposition”) and had an honest conversation with Kian84.

On that day, Kian84 asked, “I heard you don’t date celebrities,” to which Kang Ha-neul replied, “It’s not that I absolutely refuse to date celebrities, but I feel like I gain a lot from conversations with a romantic partner, so I tend to feel more curious about and drawn to people from different professions.”
The actor then admitted, “In fact, until now I’ve only dated women from other professions,” which prompted Kian84 to dub him a “different profession killer.”

Afterward, Kang Ha-neul shared an anecdote from a past relationship, revealing that he slipped a note to a woman on the subway. In particular, the actor revealed, “When I was 20, I was on the subway and saw a woman sitting across from me who was on the phone, and I felt such a kind aura from her. So I wrote a note saying, ‘I’m not a strange person, but if there’s a chance, would you like to have coffee?’ and I wrote my number down and gave it to her carefully.”
He added, “I lowered my head and handed it with both hands because I was worried she might be scared.” In response, Kian84 admired him, saying, “You’re really brave.”

Meanwhile, the movie “Yadang: The Snitch”, starring Kang Ha-neul and Park Hae-joon, delivers a deep message that questions the meaning of justice and choice in the current era. It is set to premiere in Korea on April 16.
