According to MyDaily on June 25, Kang Ho-dong, Son Heung-min and G-Dragon are filming a joint commercial (CF) for Hana Financial Group at a location in Sangam, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
An insider revealed, “Kang Ho-dong, Son Heung-min and G-Dragon are scheduled to shoot a commercial together today. It’s incredibly rare to see such top-tier stars in one place, and there’s great anticipation for the synergy this shoot will produce.”
While the three have previously filmed ads individually, this marks the first time they will appear together in the same campaign—making the collaboration even more significant.
Hana Financial Group has been pursuing aggressive star-powered marketing. It had already featured Kang Ho-dong and Son Heung-min as brand ambassadors and recently announced G-Dragon as its newest model.
Hana Financial Group describes Kang Ho-dong as the icon of “reliable partnership”, Son Heung-min as the symbol of “healthy leadership” and G-Dragon as representing a “trendy and creative character”. Additionally, singer Lim Young-woong has been participating in Hana Bank’s charity soccer events, positioned as the face of “warm-hearted consideration”.
The decision to cast G-Dragon was announced with the statement: “G-Dragon’s trendsetting and creative image, showcased through his unique music, aligns perfectly with Hana Financial Group’s vision of creating new value in finance.”
The meeting of these iconic figures is not just a marketing move—it represents a high-impact collaboration likely to generate buzz both within and outside Korea.
