Particularly, in the June 7 episode, Kang surprised viewers by taking on the role of Lee Yeo-jin, a composed and incisive social affairs journalist. The character Lee Yeo-jin is a former colleague of Go Kyun-woo (played by Cha Hak-yeon) and a journalist who precisely reports on major incidents. Since the group’s disbandment, she has been steadily building a career in acting with appearances in dramas such as “The Player 2: Master of Swindlers,” “Boyhood,” and “Friendly Rivalry”.
Among these, her nuanced performance as Joo Ye-ri in “Friendly Rivalry” earlier this year earned her recognition for capturing both emotional complexity and character depth.
