Kang Ye-seo and Mashiro’s side “We are carefully considering extending activities with Kep1er”
Kang Ye-seo and Mashiro’s agency 143 Entertainment announced on May 16th, “The decision on whether our artists Kang Ye-seo and Mashiro will extend their activities with Kep1er has not been made yet. We have been discussing this matter until yesterday and are carefully reviewing the details.”
Kep1er is a project group formed through Mnet’s “Girls Planet 999”, which aired in August 2021. The official activity period was set to be 2 years and 6 months from their debut date.
Kep1er released their first album in January 2022. According to the original plan, their activities were supposed to end this coming July. However, CJ ENM is pushing for an extension of Kep1er’s activities and is in discussions with each member’s agency. CJ ENM handles management through its subsidiaries Wake One and Swing Entertainment.
Meanwhile, Kep1er is set to release their first full-length album “Kep1going On” on June 3rd.
