Karina’s Bag Secrets: From Cute Accessories to the Diary She Can’t Afford to Lose
On March 7, a video titled “Karina’s Bag Items, the Beauty Who Looks Stunning No Matter What She Does” was uploaded to the GQ Korea YouTube channel.
In the video, Karina kicks things off by saying, “Today, I’m going to introduce the contents of my bag.” She adds with a smile, “I’m quite famous for carrying heavy things, so today I brought a big bag.”
The first item she showcases is a pair of Converse Chuck Taylor shoes. Karina explains, “These are the first shoes I begged my dad to buy for me. I wore them when I was a trainee, and they’re still at home. The members of my group know that I love these shoes and wear them often during practice.” She continues, “I like simple styles but with a point, like wearing a white T-shirt, jeans, and Converse Chuck to add a highlight.”
Next, Karina pulls out a diary and says, “Since the New Year, I’ve started writing in a diary. Although I’ve just started, I’m trying my best to keep up with it. This diary can be used for three years. Since you can write the dates by hand, I don’t feel rushed, and it makes writing easier.” She further shares, “I don’t write long entries, just summarize how I felt at the end of the day. Today, I wrote about my first photo shoot with a strong concept, something I don’t often do, but I feel like I got to know myself a little better.”
Karina goes on to present other items in her bag, such as a cute pig-shaped pencil case, a phone charger case, a stress ball, and a digital camera. She also reveals a poetry book that GQ had gifted her, saying, “I really love poetry. Recently, I’ve been so into it that I’m not lying. I received a poetry book as a gift. I have a notebook where I write down my favorite lines, even though my handwriting is not great, but I’ll try to write the lines I like in it.”
When asked about her latest purchase, Karina shares, “I recently bought a really cute phone case. One of them is called ‘Supernova,’ with a line from the song ‘The event is coming, Ag Oh Ay.’ Winter and I made these phone cases, and we shared them.”
When asked about an item she can’t afford to lose, Karina immediately points to her diary, saying, “If I lose this, it would really be a disaster. Although it doesn’t contain anything important, I’d feel really embarrassed.” She adds with a chuckle, “If someone happens to find this diary on the street, please don’t open it, just send it to the first floor of SM. Please, help me!” This comment draws laughter from the crew.
