Former VCHA member KG has shared the heartbreaking news of her brother’s passing. On May 17, 2025, KG posted an emotional tribute on her personal Instagram account, expressing profound grief over the loss of her brother, Jakey.
In her post, KG wrote, “Oh, My sweet brother. I hope you know how much I love you. I don’t know how I will live day by day without you. I wish I could’ve held onto your hand forever. My love, my Joy, my happiness, my best friend. You were absolutely everything to me. Although this pains me, I know God has welcomed you into his beautiful kingdom. your soul will shine brighter than the stars. May you rest in eternal peace. Until we meet again. I love you so so SO much Jakey.”
Following KG’s announcement, fans and supporters extended their condolences and support through social media platforms. However, the situation took a concerning turn when KG’s mother posted, then deleted, two cryptic stories on Instagram, alleging that her son was killed by stalkers.
“You killed my son you fuckers!!! And I will hunt you down and expose you at all cost. May you burn in the furies of hell!”, the mother wrote in one of the stories, while the other said, “Kg told you they were stalking us. She told you. She told you all. Do you see now”.
This development recalls previous statements made by KG, wherein she disclosed being subjected to both physical and digital stalking. She had reported that her social media accounts, emails, bank accounts, and even her physical location had been compromised. Additionally, the female idol previously mentioned facing a “PR smear campaign” against her and her family. While no name was revealed, KG hinted that powerful entertainment industry figures were involved.
These revelations come months after KG’s departure from VCHA and her legal dispute with JYP Entertainment’s U.S. division. At the time, KG announced her departure from VCHA and accused JYP USA of mistreatment and abuse towards members, unreasonable debt, and even driving a fellow member to attempt suicide.
