On October 18th, KBS’s official YouTube channel released a preview video titled “[Pre-release] Jun-su, do you like living on top of Jamsil? Jae-joong and Jun-su get grilled by Jae-joong’s outspoken mother [New Release Fun-Staurant] | KBS Broadcast”.
Kim Jae-joong’s father expressed joy at seeing Kim Jun-su after a long time, asking, “Jun-su, how have you been living alone all this time?”, to which Jun-su replied that he’s been working like Jae-joong.
Meanwhile, Jae-joong’s mother mentioned Jun-su’s luxurious home, asking, “Are you still living at the very top floor in Jamsil?”. Hearing this, Jun-su corrected her, saying he lives in the middle, not the top.
Jae-joong’s mother then remarked on Jun-su’s lavish lifestyle, saying, “You live so luxuriously. My goodness, you’ve earned good money.” This candid comment drew laughter from everyone.
Jun-su explained that his lifestyle has changed, saying his place used to feel like a hotel but now feels more like a normal home. He added that Jae-joong’s place might actually be more expensive.
In the midst of this conversation, Jae-joong’s mother suddenly took Jun-su’s hand and said, “You two have been successful. But it’s a shame that one is missing,” referencing Park Yoo-chun and surprising everyone.
The studio panelists couldn’t hide their bewilderment, exclaiming, “Oh no.”
As everyone was taken aback, Jae-joong’s mother calmly added, “At least the two of you should work hard and get married soon,” showcasing her wit by bringing up marriage.
The person in question, Park Yoo-chun, who was active with Kim Jae-joong and Kim Jun-su in TVXQ and JYJ, is currently inactive due to various controversies including drug use, tax evasion, and sex scandals.
