“Adopted” Kim Jaejoong Moved to Tears by His Sisters’ Heartfelt Words: “I Was Nervous About Different Blood Types”
On the April 4th episode of KBS 2TV’s “Stars’ Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant,” the large family gathering of Kim Jaejoong, who has 9 siblings and a total of 32 direct family members, was revealed. The event was organized to celebrate his parents’ 60th wedding anniversary.
During the show, Kim Jaejoong‘s sisters surprised him with a special event. His fourth sister read aloud a letter she had written for him. She recalled the day Jaejoong was first adopted and came to their home, saying, “I still remember it so vividly. He was so small and cute. Whenever he cried because he couldn’t sleep at night, I would give him a pillow to rest on, and he would fall asleep. He was like an angel.” She also shared, “The phrase you say the most at home is ‘I love you,’ and I want to express that love back to you.”
His eighth sister confessed, “I knew about the adoption, but I didn’t show it. Since we were in the same grade at school, it hurt me to think that my younger sibling wasn’t actually my blood relative.”
She continued, “We did a blood type test at school, and Jaejoong happily said, ‘Mom, I’m also type O!’ He looked so relieved and smiled so brightly. I was nervous that a different blood type might come up, but when I saw his smile, I realized I needed to take care of him even more. He’s my brother, but he feels more like a friend I have to look after.”
Kim Jaejoong, moved by his sisters’ heartfelt words, couldn’t hold back his tears.
