On the September 20th broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “Convenience Store Restaurant”, viewers will get a glimpse of Kim Jaejoong’s large, unique family, including his many sisters. As the youngest in a family of nine children, Kim Jaejoong will share stories about the love and support he received growing up, as well as how he now cares for his family as a global star. The episode promises plenty of laughs and joy as viewers witness the heartwarming interactions within Kim Jaejoong’s family.
In the VCR footage, Kim Jaejoong is seen cooking alongside his mother, preparing a massive meal for his large family. The ingredients seem far too much for just one meal. Nevertheless, Kim Jaejoong and his mother get to work without hesitation. Soon, the doorbell rings, and five of his eight sisters arrive, bringing along six nieces and nephews.
Previously, on “Convenience Store Restaurant”, Kim Jaejoong introduced his oldest sister, who is 20 years older than him. In this episode, more of his sisters make appearances, each bringing their own unique personalities. As each sister arrives with her children, Kim Jaejoong greets them with warm hugs. Excited to see his sisters, he shows off his playful, youngest-child charm, making everyone laugh.
As the big family gathers, the food that Kim Jaejoong and his mother worked hard to prepare is laid out, dish by dish. There’s so much food that it seems the table might break under the weight, but the large family quickly devours it all. Even Chef Lee Yeon-bok, who was watching the scene, commented, “This amount of food looks like it’s for a catering event.“
Viewers will also catch a glimpse of Kim Jaejoong and his sisters’ real-life sibling dynamics. In one moment, one of his nieces/nephews says, “My friend thinks uncle is BTS. They say you’re handsome.” To which one of Kim Jaejoong’s sisters teasingly replies, “BTS is better looking.” While Kim Jaejoong initially seemed proud of the compliment from his niece/nephew, viewers will have to tune in to see how he reacts to his sister’s playful remark.
