On April 10, a new video titled “Powerlifting? No, Skin Lifting…” was uploaded to the YouTube channel “GYM JONG KOOK.” In the video, Kim Jong-kook shared his experience of visiting his older brother’s plastic surgery clinic for the first time in his life to receive a laser treatment.
“My brother kept begging me to come, saying that I should take care of my skin while it’s still in good shape. It’s expensive, but he said he’d do it for free,” Kim Jong-kook explained.
Upon arriving, Kim Jong-kook consulted with his brother and decided to undergo a high-frequency laser procedure. When he asked, “My skin hasn’t sagged that much, right?” his brother coolly replied, “That’s just your opinion,” showing no mercy.
During the procedure, Kim Jong-kook initially said, “This is manageable. I can feel some heat,” but later jokingly complained, “Doctor, that hurt my cheek. It’s really hot,” showing a bit of playful exaggeration.
After finishing the procedure on the right side of his face, Kim Jong-kook looked in the mirror and remarked, “Why do my eyes look so lifted?” to which his brother responded, “We haven’t done the eyes yet.”
After the session, his manager commented, “You look younger,” making Kim Jong-kook smile and reply, “Didn’t my eyes lift a bit?”
Kim Jong-kook has recently been the subject of rumors alleging that he has a child in Los Angeles and is set to become a grandfather this year. He was also predicted to encounter two romantic interests in the latter half of 2025 by a fortune-teller on a Running Man episode.
