On May 20, broadcaster and freelance announcer Kim Na-jung posted a photo to Instagram without a caption, showcasing her sharp features and short haircut in a celebrity-like visual that drew attention. Fans filled the comments with messages like “You’re beautiful,” “We support you, Na-jung,” and “Let’s walk the flower path.”
Notably, Kim Na-jung liked several of these encouraging comments, signaling subtle appreciation.

Kim Na-jung was sent to the prosecution in January on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act after allegedly using methamphetamine and synthetic cannabis while in Manila in late 2023. The case began when Kim Na-jung herself posted a troubling message on Instagram in November 2023, stating, “I took drugs. I feel like I’m going to die. I can’t get on a plane.” She was detained upon returning to Korea and tested positive in a preliminary drug test.
Later, Kim Na-jung‘s legal team claimed she was forced to inhale drugs during a business trip for a beauty and lingerie project. According to her attorney, Kim Na-jung became acquainted with a young entrepreneur identified as “Mr. A,” who allegedly tied her hands, blindfolded her, and forced her to inhale smoke during a drinking session when she was partially intoxicated.

Although Kim Na-jung’s team submitted materials to support her claims, police concluded after a three-month investigation that the evidence was insufficient to prove coercion.
Kim Na-jung first gained public attention after winning the 2019 Miss Maxim contest and has since appeared on variety shows such as SBS’s Genre is Mafia and Wavve’s The Community.
As the legal proceedings continue, Kim Na-jung’s low-profile social media activity and subtle interaction with fans suggests she is hoping for quiet support and understanding in what remains a highly sensitive and controversial case.
