Recently, a Chinese netizen unveiled various photos of late actress Kim Sae-ron when she was working at a coffee shop. According to the netizen, the images were taken back in 2022, and Kim Sae-ron was working with a serious attitude, showing no signs that she was a celebrity.
It is known that due to facing heavy financial difficulties following her drunk-driving scandal, Kim Sae-ron had to take on multiple jobs, such as working as an acting coach and working part-time at a coffee-shop to pay off her debts.

Meanwhile, previously on February 19th, Choi Jeong-ah, an entertainment reporter, appeared on the Channel A’ show “Happy Morning”. Here, Reporter Choi Jeong-ah mentioned that she saw Kim Sae-ron working at a cafe.
According to the reporter, she visited a cafe in Sinsa-dong, Seoul, and there was a kind employee who came to take her order, who turned out to be Kim Sae-ron. The reporter left a note for Kim Sae-ron, which said, “I actually misunderstood as well,” and “I apologize for the article that came out. I hope to meet you at a nice place next time.”
The owner of the cafe where Kim Sae-ron worked at the time said, “Kim Sae-ron saw the note at the time, and after seeing the note, she went up to the rooftop and cried for a long time“.
Previously in July 2024, according to a report by TV Daily, Kim Sae-ron got a job as a full-time manager of a cafe located in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. She was in charge of managing not only the counter but also the entire store. At the time, Kim Sae-ron reportedly showed an active attitude toward her work, such as serving the customers enthusiastically without hesitation.
It is known that Kim Sae-ron picked up various part-time jobs, such as working part-time at a coffee shop in Oksu-dong or conducting acting classes for aspiring actors, due to financial difficulties after her drunk-driving scandal.
In particular, Kim Sae-ron was caught hitting guardrails, trees on the street, and transformers repeatedly while driving under the influence of alcohol in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the morning of May 18th, 2022. The accident caused a power cut in the area, causing damage to the business of numerous stores. After the accident, the actress wrote a letter of apology on her SNS account.
However, with her current income, it was not easy to pay all the penalty fees, on top of the late actress having a hard time mentally due to negative public opinions. Despite that, she has bravely taken over the manager position at a cafe in Seongsu-dong and is directly serving customers to overcome financial hardships.
A close acquaintance of Kim Sae-ron shared at the time, “It is true that she has officially become a manager at a cafe, but she is not retiring from the entertainment industry. While reflecting on her past mistake, Kim Sae-ron is focusing on recovering her life. As time goes by, she will calmly consider her next acting project”.
Unfortunately, the movie “Guitar Man” ended up being Kim Sae-ron’s last project, as the actress was found dead on February 16th due to a suspected extreme choice.
