Lee Jin-ho Publicly Mocks Kim Sae-ron’s Side Claims in Fiery Rebuttal: “FBI and Mossad? That’s Ridiculous!”
The controversy surrounding the late Kim Sae-ron took another dramatic turn on May 7, as former entertainment journalist Lee Jin-ho and businessman Eun Hyun-jang—better known as the “God of Commerce”—held a blistering counter-press conference in Seoul’s Samseong-dong.
Lee Jin-ho Denied Every Accusation
Kim Se-eui previously released audio recordings allegedly of Kim Sae-ron, accusing actor Kim Soo-hyun of a sexual relationship with her since middle school and claiming harassment by Lee Jin-ho and another journalist. He also alleged that Lee and Kim Soo-hyun’s agency attempted to bribe the whistleblower “Mr. A” and later arranged an attack to silence him.
But Lee Jin-ho was having none of it.
He categorically denied every accusation and dismissed the recordings as “AI-generated fakes,” calling the whistleblower “a fraud.”
One of the most jaw-dropping moments of the day came when Lee addressed Kim Se-eui’s repeated reference to international intelligence involvement:
“Kim Se-eui keeps bringing up the FBI. It’s absurd. I hope you all understand just how ridiculous this is — claiming not only that the FBI is investigating, but that Mossad (Israel’s intelligence agency) is somehow involved. These are completely outlandish stories.”
Eun Hyun-jang Defended Himself Against Claims
The sheer incredulity prompted visible laughter from both Lee and Eun as they struggled to take the allegations seriously.
Eun Hyun-jang then stepped forward to defend himself against claims that he had been in contact with the whistleblower:
“Kim Se-eui claimed that I emailed the so-called New Jersey scammer. That’s true — during a livestream, this guy sent me an email saying he had a ‘tip.’ I responded once asking, ‘Will you give me the recording?’ That’s it. I don’t know how Kim Se-eui spun that narrative. That man is just trash. Shouldn’t we speak with evidence? This isn’t the first time he’s dragged someone down with outrageous, baseless claims. That’s always been his style. I don’t watch trash content like his.”
The press conference laid bare the widening rift between the two camps, as accusations, mockery, and counterclaims now dominate the narrative of what has quickly become one of Korea’s most sensational celebrity controversies.
