A past interview of the late actress Kim Sae-ron has been revisited following her death, stirring deep sadness among the public. In this interview, she shared her passion for acting, saying, “I’ve never once regretted choosing to become an actress. I want to be an actress who conveys deeper emotions in the future.”

She also expressed excitement for her future, saying, “When I grow older, I look forward to taking on different roles as a middle-aged actress. I want to rent out a movie theater one day and invite my loved ones to watch a screening of all my works from my debut to the present, to see how I’ve grown.”

Kim Sae-ron, who was found dead at 25 on February 16 at her home in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, had been a beloved figure in the public eye from a young age. Her death has deeply saddened Korea, with many celebrities, including Won Bin, Han So-hee, and the singing group AKMU, paying their respects at the mourning ceremony.

Kim Sae-ron’s passing is especially heartbreaking given her early achievements, including becoming the youngest Korean actress to walk the Cannes Film Festival red carpet at the age of 9 and her role in “The Man from Nowhere” in 2010.
