Kim Sae-ron’s Family Asserts “100% Original” KaKaoTalk Messaging Evidence in Kim Soo-hyun Controversy
As the controversy surrounding the late actress Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun deepens, the legal team representing Kim Sae Ron’s family has stepped forward to address suspicions over the authenticity and source of the text messages revealed during their recent press conference.
On March 28, Boo Ji-seok, legal representative for Kim Sae-ron’s family and head attorney at Law Firm Buyu, addressed growing questions about the origin of the controversial messages released during the family’s press conference. When asked by CBS NoCut News whether the messages were reconstructed from digital forensic analysis, Boo responded, “It’s difficult to confirm at this stage whether the material came from forensic extraction.”
However, he firmly added, “We have the original files, and due to the sensitivity and potential legal proceedings, we are being cautious about making them public.”
Messages Suggesting Underage Relationship
The clarification follows a press conference held on March 27, during which Kim Sae-ron’s legal representatives released reconstructed KakaoTalk messages from 2016. In those exchanges, then-17-year-old (international age 15) Kim Sae-ron was allegedly on the receiving end of affectionate messages and physical intimacy suggestions from Kim Soo-hyun, painting a picture that suggests a romantic relationship.
This contradicts Kim Soo-hyun’s previous denials of any relationship with Kim Sae-ron while she was a minor, intensifying suspicions of underage grooming.
Silence from Kim Soo-hyun’s Side
Despite the growing controversy and release of messages that directly contradict his claims, Kim Soo-hyun’s camp has yet to release an official statement responding to the allegations.
