The letter also included an emotional confession about her fear and anxiety after receiving a legal notice from Kim Soo-hyun’s side.
The attorney emphasized that the released messages and contents were partially reconstructed due to privacy concerns, but firmly stated, “This is not a fabrication or manipulation of non-existent material.”
According to the family’s legal team, Kim Sae-ron attempted to end her life multiple times after receiving the content-certified document, suffering from extreme emotional distress.
The press conference also addressed the wave of malicious rumors aimed at the late actress and her family. “The baseless claims that the family is pursuing money are completely false,” said Boo Ji-seok.
He added, “The rumor that Kim Sae-ron had a poor relationship with her mother is also entirely untrue.”
Furthermore, the family took issue with claims allegedly made by a person identified as A, believed to be a former boyfriend of Kim Sae-ron, who stated she was struggling due to her family’s neglect. “That statement is extremely difficult to accept and will be met with strong legal action,” the lawyer declared.
