Was Late Kim Sae-ron’s DUI Linked to Singer Ex-Boyfriend? Lee Jin-ho Reveals Alleged Relationship Timeline
On April 10, YouTuber Lee Jin-ho uploaded a video titled “Coffee Truck Sent to Singer Ex-Boyfriend… Kim Sae-ron’s Dating Timeline and the Truth Behind Her KakaoTalk Message” on his channel Entertainment President Lee Jin-ho.
According to Lee Jin-ho, “There is strong reason to doubt Kim Sae-ron’s statement that she was dating Kim Soo-hyun until July 7, 2021,” asserting that her real partner at the time was a singer, referred to as “A.”
Lee Jin-ho claimed that Kim Sae-ron and singer A were effectively a public couple, citing her anonymous coffee truck support and event attendance, and revealed they dated from early 2021 to May 2022, with confirmed messages showing she stayed overnight at his family home.
He went on to claim that the singer had a significant emotional connection to Kim Sae-ron’s DUI accident.
At the time, she was finishing filming for “Bloodhounds” and had a dubbing session scheduled for May 17. However, she allegedly canceled the recording session due to emotional distress from the breakup. Later that night, she reportedly drank with a close friend from 4 AM until around 7:30 AM, going from a street bar to a karaoke room, according to testimony in her DUI trial.
While Lee Jin-ho mentioned the breakup seemed to stem from common relationship disputes, he clarified that “Responsibility for Kim Sae-ron’s DUI cannot be placed on A. They were adults in a genuine relationship. I sincerely hope that A’s identity remains protected. Please refrain from baseless speculation.”
