According to an OSEN report on April 10th, Choi Hyun-wook will be appearing in the drama “Hypnosis” (tentative title, also known as “Delusion“, original name “현혹”). It is said that while he is not the male lead, Choi Hyun-wook’s role has significant impact on the plot, and can be considered a major role.

Meanwhile, according to a previous News1’s coverage, Suzy has been cast as the female lead in “Hypnosis“, Kim Seon-ho has been considered for the role opposite her. Kim Seon-ho is expected to play the character Yoon I-ho, the main character and a painter, opposite Suzy.
Kim Seon-ho and Suzy previously worked together in the 2020 tvN drama ‘Start-Up’.

“Hypnosis” is a mystery drama set against the backdrop of Gyeongseong in 1935 and Shanghai in the 1800s. It follows the mysterious events that unfold as painter Yoon I-ho is commissioned to paint the portrait of a mesmerizing vampire woman, Song Jeong-hwa, whose true identity gradually comes to light. The series is based on a webtoon of the same name that was serialized on Naver.
“Hypnosis” had previously drawn attention when Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee were considered for the roles. However, due to issues arising from their relationship and breakup, both decided not to participate.
