On May 30, Fantagio released an official statement via Weverse, addressing the escalating spread of slander, personal attacks, and defamation against actor Kim Seon-ho on social media and online communities.
“Recently, there has been a continued spread of excessive and malicious slander, indiscriminate character attacks, and acts of defamation against Kim Seon-ho. We take this situation extremely seriously and will respond firmly through legal measures against any actions that infringe upon the actor’s personal rights,” the agency declared.
They emphasized their proactive approach, stating they are monitoring and collecting evidence of defamatory content and will pursue legal proceedings without hesitation.
Fantagio also encouraged fans to assist in protecting the actor by reporting harmful content, “The interest and proactive reports from fans have been incredibly helpful. If you come across any related content, we would greatly appreciate your tip-offs.”
