
On June 2, YouTube channel ELLE KOREA uploaded a video titled “The Real Way to Get Followed by Kim So Hyun, Who Follows 6,000 People.” In the video, actress Kim So-hyun was asked to share a memorable episode from her acting career, to which she responded with a story from her SNS journey.
“In the beginning, I used to get a lot of people coming to me for advice,” Kim So-hyun said. “I listened to worries from people around my age or older and gave what advice I could at the time.”
Reflecting on her past, she added, “There was a kind of purity that came with being young. I think that helped me connect with people more.” Kim So-hyun shared that she mostly received questions about career paths and life choices.

As of June 3, Kim So-hyun follows approximately 6,300 accounts, earning her the nickname ‘Mutual Follow Fairy.’ In a past interview, she even admitted that her account was once suspended due to this high follow-back activity.
When asked if she still follows fans, she replied, “Now I do it very cautiously, just occasionally.” She humorously added that she checks the date of the first DM to see if someone is a long-time fan.
Clarifying her comment, she laughed and said, “That was a joke. But if someone’s message feels really heartfelt, I follow back out of gratitude.”
Meanwhile, Kim So-hyun is currently starring in JTBC’s weekend drama _”Good Boy,” _playing the role of Ji Han-na, a police officer and former shooting gold medalist.
